  In a private residence, hidden in the picturesque hills of Canyon Country overlooking the serene valley, a baby shower was held in honor of two wonderful parents welcoming their daughter into the world. The beautiful landscaped backyard was transformed into a wonderful tea party resembling that of a Mad Hatter Tea Party. Bold colors of fuschia pink, grape purple, ocean turquoise, and lime green blanketed the guest tables. Vases of all sorts were filled with the latest floral blooms grown here in California. Beneath their patio a U-shaped buffet with chaffer dishes filled with Filipino Cuisine delights and hints of summer culinary fare of chicken picatta and wild mushroom rice pilaf. There amidst the tables, was the fruit display, holding within each tier the fresh cuts of summer fruits. The buffet tables were decorated with baskets of of utensils wrapped in coordinating napkins and a lavendar silk bow gently holding the small detail together for the guests to enjoy. Inside a dessert table was arranged with a sweet tooth lover’s delight of various choices ranging from simple cookies to elaborate strawberry shortcake cups. 

In a few months planning we were able to put together a baby shower fit for a tiny princess and her parents. Within a few hours of setting up and decorating we were able to transform a quaint secluded yard, into a beautiful garden tea party.
